Update

For the two people who read this blog: I made it to work. It was harrowing, to say the least. Have you ever driven in a whiteout? I had only the vaguest notion of where the small snow drifts that made up the road ended and the bigger snow drifts that made up the rest of the world began. I don't recommend it. And an hour later, they've closed the highway I drove in on. Really glad I have that overnight bag now.

Well congrats on getting to work! That is very dedicated of you. Since I live in a city tundra it's not quite as harrowing as what you've decribed, but never what I'd consider "fun."

Enjoy your Lost, I'll be here pathetically watching Celebrity Apprentice. Barf, but I can't stop watching it - it's like the Amazing Race Family Edition.

I have driven in a whiteout and it was terrifying. Is your hotel nice and cushy? I have a condo board meeting tonight and then I think that, like Samantha, I'm going to watch Celebrity Apprentice. Yeah, you can read all about my shame on Junkette. I'm going to save Lost for the weekend.

You don't even know me, but I'm in LA and we think it is frigid when it gets below 50. We are not familiar with this frozen water from the skies stuff. But I'm sure it's very scary.
